Tom Brown is the Chief Consumer Revenue Officer at Boston Globe Media. He’s been at Boston Globe Media for 14 years, having been hired to lead the creation of an analytics team prior to the launch of BostonGlobe.com in the fall of 2011. He became the leader of the Consumer team in 2018 and oversaw some key strategic shifts that led to a period of sharp growth in subscriptions, establishing The Boston Globe as the leading major metro subscription business in the U.S. Tom pioneered long duration low cost subscription offers that have been highly successful in driving growth. His approach has been widely recognized and adopted across the industry.
Prior to arriving at Boston Globe Media, he worked in various Analytics roles in media and the travel industry.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Western New England University.
